Joseph Andriano

Joseph Andriano is an attorney in private practice at the Law Office of Joseph I. Andriano, PLLC located in Orwell, Vermont. His practice interest areas are estate planning, probate, business formation, non-profits, cooperative business models, alternative dispute resolution, and civil legal cases impacting indigent Vermonters.

Joe is a graduate of Oberlin College and Vermont Law School. After a successful career as a general practice attorney in South Royalton, he went on to serve as an Assistant Professor teaching law and business ethics at Clarkson University and as an Assistant Dean at Loyola Marymount University, before returning to private practice in Vermont.

He has dedicated his life to making people’s lives better. He is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer (Armenia), one of the founders of Royalton Community Radio in South Royalton, served as the Chair of the Town Auditor’s Committee in Bethel, and is a past President of the Potsdam Food Co-op in Potsdam, New York. He has served on the boards of countless non-profits, and was appointed to the Ogdensburg Bridge and Port Authority by the Governor of the State of New York and confirmed in that position by the New York State Senate, where he helped bring SkyWest Airlines to New York’s rural North Country.

Currently, Joe serves as the Chair of the Planning Commission and Development Review Board of Orwell, the Secretary of the Town Green Committee of Orwell, as a member of the Addison County Regional Planning Commission, and as Vice Chair of the Operations Committee of Maple Broadband. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Vermont Bar Association.
