Karen Duguay

Karen joins ACEDC as Assistant Director after ten years with the Better Middlebury Partnership, where she led community and economic development activities for Downtown Middlebury and the greater Middlebury area. She began her career in Connecticut, working within a marketing department of a state transit agency managing the internal and external communications for three field offices. From there, Karen and her husband Todd happily returned to their home state of Vermont and Karen continued her career with positions focused on marketing, development, and public relations/communication. While at the Better Middlebury Partnership, Karen led a team of stakeholders through a large-scale downtown construction project, planned an executed a number of annual events and programs and led downtown community revitalization efforts after construction and the pandemic. Karen lives in Middlebury with her husband and their children Leah and Brady.
