FY2023 County Wide Impact

In FY 2023, ACEDC carried out numerous county wide projects.

  • Partnership with Addison County Chamber : 8 business education webinars.
     
  • Partnership with Addison County Chamber and 3 downtown organizations: Addison County Regional Marketing Partnership.
     
  • Partnership with ACRPC: Regional Priority Project List for state/federal funders.
     
  • Partnership with ACRPC: $500,000 in funding to assess brownfields projects.
     
  • Partnership with ACRPC: Creating a Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) and applying for EDA Economic Development District designation. 
     
  • Partnership with Hannaford Career Center, Middlebury College and Others: The Makery.
     
  • Partnership with Agency of Commerce: August 2022 Tour of 8 businesses and projects with State officials.
     
  • Partnership with Agency of Commerce: June 2023 ARPA Tour of Addison County including briefing at Town Hall Theater and tours of 10 businesses and projects by State officials. 
     
  • Groups Convened: 
    • Addison County Partners
    • Addison County Workforce Alliance.

FY2022 County Wide Impact

In FY 2022, ACEDC carried out numerous county wide projects.

  • Partnership with Efficiency Vermont: $171,708 to 13 Addison County Businesses for energy efficiency/ renewable energy investments

  • Partnership with Addison County Chamber : 8 business education webinars

  • Partnership with Addison County Chamber and 3 downtown organizations: Addison County Regional Marketing Partnership

  • Partnership with Addison County Chamber and 3 downtown organizations: $30,000 regional tourism marketing initiative

  • Partnership with ACRPC: Regional Priority Project List for state/federal funders

  • Partnership with ACRPC: $500,000 in funding to assess brownfields projects

  • Partnership with ACRPC: Creating a Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) 

  • Partnership with Hannaford Career Center, Middlebury College and Others: The Makery

  • Groups Convened: Addison County Partners; Addison County Workforce Alliance
