Powersports Service Manager
Cyclewise, Inc. – Middlebury, VT
Full‑Time • On‑Site • Leadership Role
Cyclewise Inc., Vermont’s Premium Powersports dealership, is seeking a highly organized, customer‑service‑driven Powersports Service Manager to lead our Service Department. This role is perfect for someone who knows how to create a predictable, professional, and rider‑focused service experience while confidently and clearly managing staff, workflow, and performance metrics.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily operations of the Service Department
- Deliver exceptional customer service from intake through delivery
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding diagnostics, timelines, and repair recommendations
- Maintain an organized, efficient workflow for technicians and service writers
- Oversee scheduling, warranty, repair orders, and service bulletins and documentation
- Coordinate with the Parts Department to ensure timely parts availability
- Monitor and report on key service metrics, including:
- Technician efficiency and productivity
- Estimate and repair order accuracy
- Workflow timeliness and on-time job completion
- Proficiency metrics tied to accuracy, consistency, and process compliance
- Use performance data to improve department operations and customer experience
- Drive service sales and upsell opportunities by identifying repair and maintenance needs such as oil changes, tire services, transmissions, suspensions, brakes,
- Train, support, and coach service staff to uphold dealership standards
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and Cyclewise quality expectations
Qualifications
- Strong background in service management within powersports or automotive environments.
- Knowledge of diagnostic tools and repair procedures, with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build lasting client relationships through clear communication and technical expertise.
- Experience with service writing and estimating software to accurately assess repair needs and costs.
- Strong sales acumen, with the ability to confidently upsell services while maintaining honesty and integrity.
- Strong leadership skills, capable of motivating a team and driving departmental performance with a calm, solution-oriented approach

Cyclewise is Vermont’s premium, rider‑focused powersports dealership, built on trust, expertise, and genuine connection with our community. We’re looking for an Apparel Specialist who brings equal parts product knowledge, customer care, and enthusiasm for helping riders stay safe, comfortable, and confident on every ride.
What You’ll Do
- Guide riders through gear selection—helmets, jackets, gloves, boots, protection, and lifestyle apparel for all segments-sport, adventure, cruiser, classic, and off-road
- Deliver personalized, transparent service that reflects Cyclewise's commitment to safety and comfort
- Manage inventory: ordering, receiving, tagging, organizing, and merchandising apparel and accessories
- Create an inviting retail experience through clean displays, seasonal layouts, and brand storytelling
- Meet with suppliers to learn new trends, restock, and collaborate on product offerings
- Educate customers on fit, safety ratings, materials, and product differences
- Support sales goals through product recommendations and upselling when appropriate
- Collaborate with the sales and service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Maintain a tidy, organized showroom that reflects our professional standards
- Assist in online sales fulfillment
What You Bring
- A genuine interest in riding culture, outdoor adventure, or technical gear
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable presence
- Confidence in helping customers make informed decisions and guiding the sale
- Attention to detail—especially with sizing, fit, and safety considerations
- Ability to stay organized and proactive in a dynamic environment
- Retail or customer service experience (powersports or outdoor gear is a plus)
- Understanding of inventory turns, aging, and markdown plans
