ACAR was founded in 2023 after Steve and Lisa Dupoise, owners of County Tire in Middlebury, recognized the need to expand due to such high demand in Addison County.
ACAR is a full-service mechanic repair shop, including being one of the only independent shops in Vermont to offer Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) calibration and alignments. In addition to ADAS service they provide engine diagnostic & repair, preventative maintenance, specialized services for EV & Hybrid vehicles, brakes, and exhaust plus sales and service for tires.
