The Addison County Economic Development Corporation (ACEDC) is pleased to announce the addition of two new staff members: Project and Grant Manager Dana Hanley and Office Manager Barbara Richardson.

Calling all women-owned businesses — YOU COUNT! This Way UP is a campaign to learn from women-owned businesses all across Vermont.

ACEDC awarded $35,000 for Addison County businesses through the Building Communities Grant Program for projects in Bristol and Monkton.

Addison County Economic Development Corporation has considered 111 loan applications, approving loans totaling over $5 million for 105 projects to 67 different businesses throughout Addison County.

Lake Champlain Maritime Museum is re-opening to the public this Saturday, May 22 with free admission for all visitors. The Museum will be open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with all outside exhibits from May 22 to Oct. 17. Indoor galleries and exhibits will remain closed temporarily.

The Patricia A. Hannaford Career Center (HCC) is pleased to announce that Collins Aerospace, Vergennes, Vermont, has provided HCC and its maker-space, The Makery, $5,000 to support its growing high-tech manufacturing training programs.
